Excellent computer skills and typing proficiency.Personable, effective at multitasking, high regard for excellent customer service, and team oriented.Minimum (1) year of applicable experience or graduate from a Scribe training program, highly desired.Clarifies dictation that is unclear or incomplete, seeking assistance as necessaryĮducation: Bachelors Degree or other healthcare related coursework including anatomy, physiology and/or medical terminology preferred.Transcribes physician dictation to include notes, letters, history and physical reports, hospital dismissal/interval notes, sign-out lists, and other physician correspondence or typing as requested.Applies knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology to the transcription of proofreading of medical dictation from originators.May handle data management tasks for physicians in real-time,.Generate referral letters for physicians, manage and sort medical documents within the EHR system, and assist with e-prescribing.Follows physician through his or her workday and charts patient encounters in real-time using medical office's Electronic Health Record and existing templates.Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff. Though based in Portland, Oregon, this position may require travel to our other office locations on an as needed basis.
